Hi my love, I’m Jamie :)

Since high school, I’ve always had a passion for makeup. You know that friend who is the go-to gal for all your glam needs? That was me! Whether it was for prom or just a fun night out, I loved boosting confidence for my friends and myself through the art of makeup. While I was dying to go to Cosmotology school, my dad said NOPE you’re going to college. I ended up attending Kutztown University and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Writing in 2017.

After spending a few years as a recruiter, I very quickly was not a corporate girlie. I knew I wanted to do something that filled my soul and also had a positive impact on others, but I couldn’t figure out what that was. In February of 2020, I made the decision to leave my corporate job and work at Orangetheory in order to free myself energetically and do some soul searching. This change was more than just a career shift; it was a step towards self-discovery and finding what truly made me happy.

Thennn Covid came along and I found myself temporarily out of work. I spent a solid 2 weeks binge watching all the reality TV before I felt the need to be more productive with my time. And almost out of nowhere, I rediscovered my love for makeup. I spent hours on end nearly every single day practicing on myself and experimenting with looks. I discovered a creative side that I never knew I had and found that one thing in life that lit my soul on fire. Even after returning to work, I fully made all things makeup my personality. My husband suggested I try taking clients, which I quickly laughed off because who in their right mind would pay ME to do their makeup? Welllll I’ll tell ya who - my boss at the time! She asked me to glam her up for a photoshoot and even though the idea of doing that made me want to hide under a rock (ahh, good ol’ imposter syndrome), I said of course. Turns out, doing makeup on someone else was surprisingly easier than doing it on myself, and it gave me the confidence I needed to launch myself into my makeup artistry career.

Since then, my journey has been an actual dream; que the happy tears :’)

I’ve been fortunate enough to grow my business, helping clients look and feel their best for their special moments. My goal is to provide a personalized luxury experience tailored to each of my client’s needs. My number one priority and main driver behind all of this, is to help every bride of mine feel the most beautiful and confident they ever had, because no bride should ever have to worry about how they look on their big day.

Outside of makeup, I’m a wife, and a mama to the sweetest and most lively little boy. If you like reality TV (shout out to my fellow Bravo-holics) then we will have lotsss to chat about during our glam sessions! Rescue animals have a special place in my heart, Sunday’s at Church are my weekly reset, and my blood may or may not be partially made up of coffee & red wine.

Let’s be friends! Whether you book with me or not, I love meeting new people! You can find me on IG @jamieweissmakeup, or if you’re curious if we’d be a good fit, shoot me an email at jamieweissmakeup@gmail.com :) Can’t wait to meet ya!

XOXO Jamie
